In 2017, I was selected to lead the business integration of a newly acquired company into the CertainTeed fold. Known for my solid problem solving and project management skills, I was excited to accept the leadership opportunity but I was uneasy overseeing the integration of some unfamiliar processes such as HR or IT infrastructure. Building trust, listening to understand and communicating clearly became critical to my success. Having kept my philosophies top of mind, I thoroughly enjoyed the remote temporary assignment and now have a much deeper understanding of overall business management.
