About Patricia Peña

Graduate at UVM with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Health and Society with a minor in Neuroscience. I am currently working at UVM in the Human Resources Office as an HR Generalist. In my past roles as a peer leader in the Career Center and the Tutoring Center, I have been able to learn how to look through resumes and cover letters, how to train students for the position, and conduct mid-year assessments. My internships have taught me more on professional development, recruitment, confidential files, and more. At UVM Human Resource Services I have expanded my knowledge regarding Benefits, I9s, the hiring process, job postings and processing, labor and employee relations, and more.In the future, I am interested in pursuing my masters degree in either Business administration with a concentration on Human Resources or Psychology with a concentration on Organizational Psychology. I am open to grow into different roles in the future.
