Patricia Voight is the CISO and Head of 1st Line Technology Risk Management at Webster Bank. Previously, she was a Managing Director at Ernst & Young LLP in the Financial Services (FS) Risk Consulting sector, and the FS Technology Risk Integrated Cybersecurity Leader for the Americas. Patricia has extensive experience serving large global, medium-size regional, and startup clients with a focus on financial, operational, and technology risk management; cybersecurity and digital transformation; organizational and technology strategies; risk remediation; process, risk, and control (PRC) frameworks; and meeting regulatory expectations. She works directly with board members and C-Suite leaders to help each organization accelerate its company’s mission and protect its purpose. She has held numerous strategic executive roles in the industry across all Three Lines of Defense.Patricia serves as a subject matter advisor speaking at organizational and industry conferences around the globe, including FS-ISAC, ISACA, IIA, and SIFMA. She is also a contributing author on numerous publications, including ISACA’s recently published Digital Trust Ecosystem Framework (DTEF), COBIT 2019 I&T Governance Assessment and Performance Management Guide, and their numerous industry certification exams. She focuses on subjects related to emerging risks and technologies, operational and technology transformation, digital trust, cybersecurity, privacy, resiliency, artificial intelligence, supplier management, sustainability, risk remediation, quantum computing, and regulatory guidance from a global, federal, and state perspective. She serves on ISACA’s Digital Trust Advisory Council and Governance of Enterprise IT Advisory Group.Patricia is a mentor in the industry working with iQ4, iMentor and universities across the US to teach high school and college students, including those who are neurodiverse, skills to be successful in the expanding field of cybersecurity and to help address the shortage of skilled talent across the industry. She supports Junior Achievement, having achieved success in their entrepreneurial programs as a youth, and personally understanding the importance and impact that role models can have on inspiring future leaders. Patricia is also an active leader of DEI initiatives, including organizational affinity groups, community-based leadership initiatives, and the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) which supports the entire LGBTQ business community.
