With over 23 years of experience as a forensic psychologist, consultant, expert witness, and educator, I am currently the Vice President for Business Innovation & Strategic Advancement at Palo Alto University. In this role, I oversee business innovation, growth, marketing, communications, alumni relations, and institutional research at Palo Alto University. I also lead CONCEPT Continuing & Professional Studies, which I founded in 2009, and which provides cutting-edge training and certification in specialty ares of mental health practice. Additionally, I maintain an independent practice, where I provide forensic consultation, evaluation, and testimony on issues of criminal competencies and criminal responsibility throughout the United States. I am a past president of American Psychology-Law Society (AP-LS; Division 41, American Psychological Association) was named a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and a Distinguished Member of the American Psychology-Law Society in 2006 in recognition of outstanding contributions to the science and profession of forensic psychology. I have authored or edited multiple books and publications on forensic psychology, and received several awards and honors for my scholarship and service. My core competencies include business strategy, curriculum development, workshop facilitation, psychology, writing, and research. My mission is to advance the science and practice of forensic psychology, and to contribute to the improvement of the justice system and the well-being of society.
