Entrepreneur and passionate about data and high performant systems. Co-founded Split Software serving as CTO. At Split we are changing the way software products are being built and released. We are a Feature Delivery Platform composed of two major products: Feature Flags and Experimentation.I designed and built Split from the ground up all the way to serve more than 15 trillion feature flags per month and up to 6 billion users and devices. With approximately 6 billion user actions collected for A/B test calculations. More recently I led our AI roadmap which included a support chatbot, in-product experiment data interpretation and Github Copilot Agent that allowed Split and Copilot to answer Feature Flags related questions to developers. This later use cases used GenAI at its core.Been part of the engineering founding team at RelateIQ, later acquired by Salesforce where I served as a Sr Director of Engineering and built software at scale to mine user insights out of email communication and involved all aspects of software architecture.Former Apache Cassandra engineer and Cassandra Java Client contributor.Prior employers include Openwave, Google, Globant , IBM, Telecom and VW.Been involved in building a neo-cortex like algorithms in the past years and that still remains a problem I would like to come back to.
