EQUIPMENT FOR TELEVISION BROADCASTING STATIONS AND NETWORKSTEKNOS actively participates in the development of television broadcasting in Chile.Between 1975 and 1980, it designs and manufactures more than 40 repeater stations to expand national television coverage networks, for TV Nacional and TV Universidad Católica.In 1978, with the approval of color television, and throughout the eighties and nineties, TEKNOS led the introduction of new recording, editing and electronic animation technologies, equipping all TV channels and especially Megavisión and Chilevisión, which entered the market with the opening to private television.TEKNOS maintains these business lines until the year 2000.

EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION OF PANASONIC PROFESIONAL LINEIn 1975 we created TEKNOS-PANASONIC Business Division for distribution of the PANASONIC professional product line manufactured by the Matsushita Group of Japan.This Division was the first company to market in Latin America the widest range of high technology products from PANASONIC in the areas of fixed and mobile communications, audio, professional video and office equipment.In 2000, we sold the business line of this Division to the company Mellafe y Salas.

TEMPUS LEASING LEASING FOR OFFICE AND COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENTIn the year 1991 we created TEMPUS LEASING to offer leasing of communications systems and office automation for medium and small companies for amounts below US $ 100,000 in a period in which the financial market did not have this type of offer.In 1995, we sold 100% of our leasing portfolio to Banks and Financial Institutions that began to offer this product in the market. The experience gained in this profitable financial business subsequently strengthens other, larger-sized financial businesses, such as outsourcing and managed services offered by the Group's various companies.

PAGING AND RADIO TRUNKED COMMUNICATIONS SERVICESIn 1982, he participated in the creation of INSTACOM, to provide Paging Services and Radio Trunked Mobile Communications (Radiotrunking) with national coverage and Motorola's state of the art technology.INSTACOM becomes the main company of these services with the highest coverage and market share. We were for 6 years in advance negotiating with SUBTEL to release the authorization to install public radio systems.In year 1995 we sell the INSTACOM company to the Telefónica de España Group, which integrates it into the mobile communications companies of Telefónica CTC Chile, where the cellular telephony business will subsequently be developed.

TELEVISION PRODUCTION COMPANYIn 1978, I created CVC, the first producer in Chile with equipment for color television studios in Chile, ahead of release of the NTSC color standard. CVC stands out as an innovative center that introduced the latest technologies for the generation of programs, documentaries and commercials for producers, advertising agencies, television channels and companies in general.CVC was the first domestic producer to introduce electronic animation.CVC producer is sold in 1989, after 12 years of operation and through TEKNOS we focused on supply of solutions for television channels that began to develop with the opening of Private Television in Chile starting 1989

INTEC- INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGICAL REASEARCH OF CORFOIn the year 1970, immediately after graduating from the School of Engineering of the University of Chile, I became a Research and Development Engineer at the Institute of Technological Research INTEC, which also had support from the French Government.INTEC, dependent on CORFO, had the purpose to act as an agent in the process of technological updating of production and service sectors. During this period I obtained an industrial grant for a two-year stay in France at the THOMSON-CSF and RADIOTECHNIQUE subsidiaries of PHILIPS in France.It was during this period that the firm decision to develop myself as an entrepreneur woke up in me.
