I am currently a Senior Human Capital Consultant at ICF, as well as a doctoral candidate at Louisiana Tech University. Most of my practical experience comes from working at AROS Consulting, where I have been a consultant for the last three years working on projects such as conducting a job analysis for a Louisiana Police Department and helping to develop a dashboard for a state-wide K-12 teacher retention initiative. I've also had the opportunity to lead several projects, such as a University COVID-19 initiative. On the academic side, beyond coursework, my focus has predominantly been on the development of assessments for selection, especially cognitive ability tests and situational judgment tests, as well as utilizing several techniques including Automatic Item Generation (AIG) and Item Response Theory (IRT). A more recent hobby of mine has been exploring data visualization in R using Shiny and exploring Python as an analytical tool. The goal is to be able to replicate my current projects in R in Python, as well as gain a solid understanding of machine learning (especially NLP) using libraries like TensorFlow.
