Group Health And Safety Manager
Current- Providing clear guidance to all hotel teams on Health and Safety, Hygiene, and Fire responsibilities, ensuring compliance with legislation and supporting Heads of Department in meeting these standards.- Reviewing the Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) and Fire Policy annually, or as required, updating procedures accordingly.- Conducting annual reviews of fire evacuation procedures and organising statutory fire training.- Coaching and supporting H&S local teams with accident investigations and ensuring RIDDOR reports are completed.- Ensuring fire risk assessments and general risk assessments are conducted and reviewed annually, collaborating with Heads of Department and General Managers to implement controls.- Collaborating with the appointed person for Legionella and Asbestos control, ensuring management systems are complied with.- Auditing H&S, food safety, and fire safety documentation on a six-monthly schedule.- Drafting revisions to the HSMS, Fire Safety policies based on audit findings or changes in statutory requirements.
