1. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER HUNGER FIGHTERS UGANDA (HFU) (1ST JULY 2018 – DATE)DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(i) Recommend and execute annual staff development plan for the (HFU) Organization in its partnership with World Food Programme (WFP) in General Food Assistance (GFA) activities in the settlements of Nakivale & Oruchinga in the Western Uganda (Isingiro District).(ii) Recommend and execute policies, procedures, rules, regulations for employees in compliance with labour laws (Employment Act. 2006)(iii) Review and update all Human Resource to meet the Organization’s needs.(iv) Plan and facilitating the Human resource activities in the team: Contract drafting, Recruitment, and employee relations.(v) Ensuring that job descriptions for the current new positions and volunteers are developed.(vi) Maintain the current HFU/Organizational chart and current staff contact list.(vii) Assist the progress of HFU job planning and performance management.(viii) Provide coaching and training to direct staff on Human Resource and Administration function.(ix) Support HFU procedures or papers relating to personal or staff issues.(x) Develop instructions for HFU staff members about administration and Human Resource procedure.(xi) Attend management meetings and make periodic reports to Top Management.
