I’m a sales and marketing leader who is endlessly curious about technology, business, and life which has inspired a career building large global businesses like the Trade Desk, Yahoo and Sports Illustrated as well as accelerating growth for innovative startups like BLADE and Citizen Sports. Some of the accomplishments I’m most proud: * I grew up counting and sorting coins, so generating close to $2 billion in sales in my career is a big number (that’s a lot of nickels and dimes) * Moving the needle on revenue and culture at globally respected brands like Yahoo and Sports Illustrated * Most people don’t win the Superbowl or World Series once, let alone twice, but being a part of two successful startups (BLADE and Citizen Sports) that were acquired/IPO’d is the business equivalent * Our team at Citizen Sports was one of the best ever assembled, and being acquired by Yahoo taught me how to hold to the entrepreneurial spirit while running billion-dollar businesses * Having lived in NY all my life, relocating to London is something I dreamed of but never imagined would happen…I did it, and leaping out of my comfort zone taught me a lot about life, leadership and diversity * Seeing many of the people I've managed excel in their careers gives me pride and inspires me to continue mentoring, advising, and coaching others * Earning $227 as a performing musician around NYC not only gave me the right to say I was a professional singer-songwriter, it also gave me a north-star as a leader striving to always inspire people to ’sing-along’ * There are many more, but as my wife says, “save it for the book”!
