Chair of the Employers Group developing the Fire Emergency Security Standard (FESS) Trail blazer Apprenticeship. The aim of the employer group is to ensure FESS Apprenticeship is current and fit for purpose. As well as the Governance of the standard, which involves to continue to engage with the IFATE and the Industry. To Amend or Revise FESS standard and End Point Assessment (EPA) which may require Standard to be keep up to date. Changes due to recommendation following IFATE statutory review. Provide evidence for a funding review. Engage with training providers and an EPAO to ensure effective delivery. Deal with queries, on standard and assist IFATE to consult with the industry employers on important issues. FESS is now being delivered in Colleges and Training providers, having 800 apprentices.
