About Patrick Angier

The joy of this business is getting to grips with a wide variety of different industries, companies and technologies. Over the years I have worked with top scientists, entrepreneurs and other advisors in whole raft of different businesses and gained real insights into the technologies and markets that underpin them - everything from technologies to reduce CO2 emissions, plant production for medicinal uses, technologies that replicate the human immune system, to high end engineering and electronics to a utility company supplying the retail market. Some of these have gone on to be significant businesses, some have been bought / acquired and many are ongoing, some have shown very good promise, but market conditions either haven't developed or have gone against them and some have just failed. Through all this I have gained invaluable experience of helping companies develop long term strategies, prepare and secure investment and then as an advisor and/or investment director ensure the growth is achieved and prepare them for an exit or refinancing. I have also been integral part of building to leading advisory businesses in this space. Firstly as part of an MBI into Beer and Partners Ltd and then as a founding partner of Ruffena Capital Ltd. which has now been renamed Ruffena Capital Asset Management Ltd.
