Patrick Anglin is a graduate of the University of Manchester’s Manchester Business School where he pursued a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree. He received a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Mona Business School (now the Mona School of Business and Management), The University of the West Indies, in 2000 and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Studies, also from The UWI, in 1996. Patrick’s current research interests include: The impact of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) on Productivity; The use of ICT in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs); Knowledge Management; Agro-Tourism; Agro-Business; and ICT Benchmarking. Currently, Patrick drafts ICT policy and works on enterprise-wide ICT projects spanning the UWI’s 4 campuses and 15 country locations. In addition to owning his own consulting firm, he is also an associate at the UWI Consultancy Company.Between 2004 and 2008 Patrick was an external examiner for the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica in Management Information Systems, Engineering, and Information Technology, and is a former Course Coordinator for the Information Technology component of The UWI’s Associate of Science degree. As a Management Consultant, Patrick has provided services and training to the Ministry of Health (and to its In-service Nursing Education Programme) and is a Business Service Provider for the Jamaica Business Development Corporation. He provides training in Business Ethics, Project Proposal Writing, and Introduction to Management. He currently sits on the Distance Education Standards Committee of the University Council of Jamaica, and on the Technical Working group of the Jamaica Research and Education Network (JREN).
