Hi there, I'm Patrick, an Arts Manager who's passionate about music and food. I've been working in the live arts and entertainment space since 2011 and have had the pleasure of managing some of Singapore's most iconic festivals and events.From my first day as a freelance Production Assistant at a concert, I knew that I was in the right industry. Fast forward to today, and I've worked my way up through the ranks on projects of varying scale. I've been fortunate enough to take on management roles in core organising and producing teams behind events like the Singapore Grand Prix, Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay, the Singapore International Festival of Arts, and the Singapore Writers Festival. Through my journey, I've had the opportunity to develop a diverse set of skills and experiences. From on-ground operations to high-value artist contract negotiations and budget tracking, I've gained valuable knowledge in various areas. Additionally, I've had the privilege of working with government agencies on event licensing matters, which has helped me understand the importance of compliance and regulation. Overall, I am constantly striving to expand my skill set and deepen my understanding of the industry.While I'm proud of these achievements, it was my work in the local music scene that really helped me find my footing. In 2016, local band M1LDL1FE approached me to be their manager, and that experience served as the catalyst for my personal journey as a Creative & Artist Manager. It also led to the founding of Metronome in 2017, an independent management company that now represents several talented artists, including M1LD1FE, Inch Chua, Aisyah Aziz, Tim De Cotta, and 'Not a tastemaker' - an image-making duo that I'm part of, which focuses on people, food, and music.I'm always looking for ways to combine my interests in music and food creatively, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me next.
