Oversee all Air Forces Africa and Joint Air Force Component Commander operations in East Africa. Coordinate with two Joint Task Forces supporting steady state and planning in crisis, including logistics and resupply, guardian angel, personnel recovery, casualty evacuation, medical evacuation, and aerial refueling for multi-national fixed wing, and joint force tilt rotor and helicopter operations.

Manages strategic, and operational planning enabling tactical execution of all air operations in PACOM area of responsibility. Coordinates with supporting/supported Joint Force Commands for aircraft apportionment, and taskings. Develops weekly air tasking order, and coordination of long range detailed Continuous Bomber Presence and Theater Security Package strategy and operations. Responsible to the Theater Joint Force Air Component Commander for all air operations in support of combat, humanitarian, mobility, and support missions.

Manages strategic and operational planning of bomber forces throughout the PACOM AOR. Coordinates with supporting COCOMs and MAJCOMs for bomber operations and long range planning efforts. Develops operations orders, and manages cradle to grave deployment cycles of strategic assets. Manages PACAF POM cycle for Global Precision Attack and advocates for nuclear and conventional policy, and logistics requirements in the AOR. Responsible for the reception, beddown, support, sustainment, and execution of over 2000 personnel and $10B in strategic national assets annually.
