Srdja Popovic, the leader of the organization specializes in educating activists from around the world in resisting autocratic regimes using non-violence. As a part of his student support staff, I was responsible for managing their email server, writing newsletters to their subscribers on social injustices occurring around the world, working on publications as well as drafting reports on human rights crises. From CANVAS one learns to combine professional standards of work with a limitless compassion for those struggling against dictatorship.
