City of Newcastle owns and operates a significant Waste and Resource Management Business that generates ~$80M revenue/annum. This includes collections services and the second largest landfill facility in NSW.-Development of key programmatic strategic documents to facilitate the business to move from a predominantly landfill operating model to a diversified regional resource recovery hub operating model-Budget management over $10M/annum capital works. Including the facilitation of planned budget change requests on a quarterly basis to the Economic Review Committee.-Develop and manage 3 new program delivery streams within Waste Services; Strategy, Business Improvement and Environmental Compliance. Including the hire and ongoing management of 10 new additional staff for newly created positions

- Delivered a 10-year strategic waste management strategy for 2 municipals in remote Philippines (Ifugao).- Conducted Waste Analysis and Composition Study for 2 municipals.- Facilitated the concept of clustering solid waste management resources of 6 municipalities.- Sourced funding and technical support for a Feasibility Study and construction of a Sanitary Landfill & Materials Recovery Facility.
