As a pharmacist and clinical research scientist, I have a keen interest in discovering innovative medicines that can enhance the current standard of care. I have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills needed to create new breakthroughs in the treatment of chronic inflammatory respiratory diseases, cardiovascular, cancer and immunological diseases, including the ability to oversee various stages of Research and Development (R&D), clinical supplies, clinical trials, research coordination, and the ability to lead clinical research teams while ensuring compliance with SOP, GMP, safety, and quality guidelines, as well as relevant company and legislative regulations.In my role as a Clinical Project Manager, I am honored to have received a $990,064 award from the MRFF Early to Mid-Career Grant. As the lead investigator, this grant is specifically designated for researching the efficacy of zinc supplementation in preventing respiratory infections among COPD patients. This opportunity enables me to play a pivotal role in advancing our understanding of respiratory health, with the potential to enhance the quality of life for COPD patients. I am also leading the investigation into the health impacts of bushfire smoke in Australia.I thoroughly enjoy analyzing and interpreting complex data and collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I possess several specific skills, including experience in flow cytometry, inflammatory diseases, scientific writing, patient assessment, monitoring, and recruitment, leadership skills, partnership management, community & stakeholder engagement, data analysis, project management, scientific presentations, clinical trial management, western blotting, RT-PCR, ELISA, cell culture, and animal/pre-clinical studies.
