Responsible the hiring, training, termination and performance management of an hourly team of Inventory Specialists. Managed a group of 7 full-time employees that are responsible for identifying, tagging, researching and inventorying over 16,000 pieces of capital equipment purchased by Johns Hopkins University. Responsible for conducting a 100% inventory of all JHU capital equipment, grant acquired, and government furnished every two years as required by U.S. Office of Management and Budget. Ensured all assets are correctly coded for space surveys and budget was forecasted on a yearly basis. Monitored all capital equipment disposals and gain/loss accounts. Supervised the submission of equipment close-out reports on all terminated contracts administered to Johns Hopkins University in accordance with federal acquisition regulations. Submitted yearly equipment balance reports for all NASA, NIH and Department of Defense administered contracts to the University and coordinated all logistical support for the all U.S. Government site visits (sponsored equipment audits). Supervised and approves all JHU capital equipment requests and equipment non-payroll cost transfers. Responsible for conducting detailed revenue and expenditure analysis for both sponsored and non-sponsored funds, in order to identify incorrectly expensed capital equipment. Served as the Project Manager for the Johns Hopkins Hospital Equipment Inventory Project. Responsible for the initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing of the Hospital Inventory Project encompassing over 11,600 pieces of medical equipment in support of the Johns Hopkins Health Care Delivery System. Responsible for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to gather and evaluate data, making recommendations to senior management based on results. Communicated with stakeholders and sponsors on a daily basis and responsible for completing milestones set forth.
