Having a keen interest in safety and foreign affairs I have used my Strategic Planning, Operations Management, Research skills, area knowledge, and subject matter expertise for intensive research to collect, review, interpret, and evaluate Public Safety, political, military data to carry out threat assessments, safety analysis, and security recommendations to assist clients in being prepared for all hazards, man-made or natural.Have identified trends and patterns of regional players, and their cultural idiosyncrasies for government, military, and civilians, in areas of political/military interest for the U.S.Developed a team of highly skilled speakers made up of experienced former intelligence/military professionals, and civilian Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), for presenting seminars on Public Safety, emergency preparedness, physical security, and terrorismManaged the dissemination of timely and meaningful region-specific information to members of CSA, and other interested parties through situational reports and analysis of daily/weekly open source documents. Assisted in contingency planning and table-top exercises for federal and civilian personnel at Nellis AFB, for TXARNG, as an instructor for the Navy on board the USS Sterrett, LVMPD, and DOEResearched, evaluated, and made several presentations on security, and Homeland Security topics for national and international response to emergency situations, recovery and mitigation procedures across the globe, using a multidisciplinary approach to research, present, and write in-depth analysis of regional trends.

Developed the first Bachelors program in Homeland Security (in the country) for the University by doing an in-depth analysis of the need to educate our nation's students and First Responders about the true causes of terrorism by identifying, prioritizing, and validating the need for this course of study in our country after 9/11. Responsibilities included Planning, research, design, delivery and communication new material and training methods whilst implementing and delivering an evaluation model to measure the success of the training.Collected, reviewed, and validated several academic and real world styles of curriculum and program development, student retention, advising, and needs assessment to assess the relevance, and significance of socio-cultural issues. . Worked closely with the University Police and local Homeland Security Director to develop and implement a comprehensive Safety and Emergency Plan for the University and Knox County, IN. As a member of The Emergency Planning Committee for Vincennes University, was instrumental in providing an "outside" evaluation of the emergency plan, by recognizing discrepancies and strengths that had been overlooked in the previous plan. As an evaluator for an Evansville, IN, Emergency Preparedness Exercise I was invited to monitor, evaluate and report on the strengths and shortcomings of the exercise. Planned a Business Continuity and Humanitarian trip, organized and lead a team of volunteers in assisting the Slidell Police Department, Louisiana, in the recovery of criminal evidence that was destroyed after hurricane Katrina. Very active in response to victims of disasters, by developing written policies and procedures for Quick Response Teams that were activated for humanitarian assistance during/after disaster struck in southern Indiana.Planned, organized and led several teams of trainees, volunteers, and students, in assisting local businesses and civilians affected by tornadoes in Indiana.
