CurrentWorked with executive leadership, operational leaders and front line supervision to invigorate the safety culture of the organization. An operation of roughly 1000 associates, reduced OSHA recordable incidents from over 200 to 44 in a sixteen month time frame. This reduction equated to substantial savings in workers’ compensation costs for the organization. Oversaw the Return to Work process drastically reducing the number of affected employees on light duty by over 65% over the same time frame. Worked with the on/site clinic staff to provide appropriate and timely first aid, as well managing ART care for team members. Teaming with the Hourly Trainers to ensure pragmatic and applicable training is provided to new and new to area team members. Leveraging their insight and experience to perform daily PPE audits and ensuring accurate Job Hazard Analysis’ are in place and communicated.By establish strong relationships throughout the organization, the anticipation is to achieve a 10% reduction, year after year, of recordable incidents within the organization.
