• Assist supervisor in day-to day activities• Defining and controlling 5S and VM&C standards• Coordination of 5S initiatives& Kaizen events• 5S Status reporting and auditing• Operations Administration• Develop and standardize 5S and VCM initiatives at plant level• Train Lean & 5S essentials (internal and external)• Coordinate and improve “Gemba” Walks• Assist and monitor 5S self-assessments• Maintain and report site 5S metrics and statistics.• Pro-actively work to increase 5S level at EDC• Advocate 5S essentials as a core value of EDC and provide regular communications to department managers. • Coordinate the new idea process ( CI-meetings)• Takes effective steps to ensure that workplace organization comply with agreed 5S level.• Act as the 5S and VM&C champion in cross functional operation projects for new process introduction, area/facility changes, Goals and Plans development, etc.• Other duties may be assigned

• Provide day-to-day direction to the outbound operations group• Plan and manage people, equipment, material and space resources in order to meet department objectives• Ensure compliance to quality, regulatory, legal en training requirements• Manage department goals, plans and objectives• Utilize Lean principles to drive value improvement projects• Utilize business systems, policies and procedures to manage the business (e.g./TRS/EPADR)• Promote, monitor and ensure a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies• Establish a team of motivated members• Monitor work processes and implement modifications in order to increase and improve productivity, efficiency and accuracy. • Ensure that all order are picked, packed and shipped according to customer’s requirements.. • Provide accurate measurements, reports and timely metrics to MT• Act as the subject matter expert during internal and external audits• Interact with customers in resolving delivery or order filling issues.• Establish, review and maintain procedures and work instructions• Co-ordinate information concerning recup/sickness/ holidays and communicate to the HR department• Maintain Kronos, TRS etc.• Train and develop the outbound operations group to enable the group to effectively support the operation. • Drive and sustain 5S principles in area.• Utilize problem solving roadmap/tools to resolve performance issues• Develop, maintain and present Core 5-performance• Lead project teams and develop improvement plans• Initiate plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
