In this role I was responsible for the stewardship of research projects through both the Research Services Office and the Research Ethics Board. I assisted in conducting thorough reviews of medical research applications, and ensured that conditions of sponsor/funding agencies were met. I also assisted in the organization, administration, and documentation of all of the meetings of the Health Sciences North Research Ethics Board. Many of my tasks involved serving at an administrative capacity to ensure medical research and ethics were upheld and promoted throughout Health Sciences North and the Health Sciences North Research Institute.

In this role I was responsible for arranging historical documents and photographs and providing a brief description of their contents. I also entered this data into electronic files, to create an index of these important historical records. My role also allowed me to conduct minor research projects while searching through microfilm reels of the Sudbury Star and Sudbury Journal.

In this position I assisted library patrons with any type of assistance they required, such as searching for a book, provided computer services, and even sold bus tickets and dog tags. Some of my duties included assisting the public, checking out books, and re-shelving materials.

As a Clerk’s Services Assistant for the City of Greater Sudbury I supplied various services to the public from Tom Davies Square. My tasks included coordinating administrative functions such as preparing agendas, minutes, statutory notices, and assisting with correspondence for the GSC Council and its Committees. Other tasks also included issuing marriage licenses, burial permits, attending GSC Council meetings, and many other general administrative duties for both the municipality and the public.

While in this position I conducted research for Yves Pelletier, the Associate Vice-President of Academic and Francophone Affairs regarding the prominent role of Sir George-Étienne Cartier throughout Confederation. I conducted research through online newspaper journals and archival materials. I charted much of this information into online databases and ensured accuracy and relevance of information.

After having completed my studies at Laurentian University, I applied to and earned a position as a part-time online history instructor for the 2020 Spring term course titled “HIST-2056 Ancient Civilizations.” As a course instructor, my duties included corresponding with students concerning any questions or concerns, reading along with the course material, and grading quizzes, assignments, and a final exam.

While working in this role, my tasks included sorting and organizing Canadian taxpayer forms that have been mailed to the Canada Revenue Agency from citizens across the nation, and those living overseas.

After having completed my studies at Laurentian University, I was able to secure a position as an assistant researcher for the Associate Vice-President of Academic and Francophone Affairs. My tasks included searching through government documents such as The Hansard Index, archival materials, as well as provincial newspaper journals for any materials concerning the commemoration of past Prime Ministers through monuments on Parliament Hill.

While completing my MA in History, I held a position as a teacher's assistant to both my main supervisor, Dr. Daniel Byers, and my co-supervisor Dr. Todd Webb. I fulfilled tasks such as facilitating class discussions, led film workshops, met with and advised students with their work, and graded essay papers.

While working as a student library assistant at the J.N. Desmarais Library, Laurentian University's largest library, my responsibilities included aiding students in finding and checking out books, organizing, repairing and shelving books, while also aiding with minor research projects.

As a member of the Laurentian University Political Science Association (LUPSA), a colleague and I organized, researched, and wrote a guide-book named "Model Parliament: A How-To Guide," for Dr. Nadia Verrelli of the Department of Political Science, in order to better organize future students for an annual event called Model Parliament held in Ottawa.

As a research assistant for Dr. Linda Ambrose of the Department of History, I was tasked with searching through a Pentecostal magazine titled the Pentecostal Testimony, and identified and organized any clippings pertaining to the promotion of Church Summer Camps from 1920 to 1975.

As a research assistant for Dr. Joel Belliveau of the Department of History, I was tasked with looking through and organizing clippings from various English and French language newspapers from across Canada for any mention of certain national and patriotic days, such as Dominion/Canada Day, St-Jean Baptiste Day, and Orangemen's Day.
