TE4 on the MDOT SHA I-270 @ Watkins Mill Rd. Interchange Project. This 3-year project consisted of the construction of a 5-span steel girder bridge over I-270, a 2-span steel girder bridge, as well as reinforced concrete retaining walls, MSE- walls, box culverts and associated roadway construction of the 5 interchange ramps. Patrick’s duties included ensuring that all aspects of the structures work were constructed per contract plans and specifications. Mr. Becker was also responsible for managing material delivery certifications specific to the structures work, tracking related submittals and RFIs as well as producing quantity take offs and accompanying sketches for estimate payments

Patrick served as Inspector II for the Ohio River Bridges Oversight Assistance Committee responsible for all roadway and bridge items in Section 3 which included of I-65, US 31 and related Ramps in Southern Indiana. Construction activities in this section included 38 MSE walls, 20 bridges, roadway excavation, embankment, drainage, utilities, lighting, signals, soil stabilization, aggregate base, asphalt pavement, barrier walls, guardrail, signing, striping and traffic control. Pat was responsible for ensuring that his assigned structure work as well as specific aspects of all other operations were constructed per contract plans and specifications
