Project engineer responsible for the execution of the design process for commercial aerospace-based mechanical components from root cause through certification and onwards to full incorporation of the new design in an active commercial engine fleet.

Customer Focal for Project Engineering (formally 'CIPT Focal') in Engine Controls Systems. In this role I represented the development activities of the Control Systems module center across the PW1500G and PW1900G Geared Turbofan engine programs. The role required direct daily customer interaction to coordinate production improvement initiatives, engineering development tasks, and field investigations. I also lead commitment integrity and process improvement efforts for engineering changes.

In this role I operated as a climbing guide within the scope of the AMGA (American Mountain Guide Association) to which I was certified. I independently lead clients on full-day outings into the wilderness for climbing experience and instruction. This involved managing environments that quickly become high-risk without proper knowledge and knowledgable guidance, both of which I provided to my clients. My primary region of operation was the Wasatch Mountains adjacent to Salt Lake City, UT.

I was a coordinator of engineering efforts in preparation for a program-wide executive review. I was responsible for understanding engineering requirements in the program and for actively driving closure efforts to meet a hard review deadline.

I was a mechanical engineering intern working in project engineering for a predominant aerospace company. I coordinated efforts for product improvement between project engineering, systems engineering, and management. I also developed Matlab code that is being used to filter, analyze, and plot engine data taken from state-of-the-art commercial engines to bolster component investigations.
