Presently Account manager at Centurion Print responsible for the handover of the Magenta clients to our new owners. Built up our business from startup to a significant turnover and managed a great team of staff. Accounts we obtained during this period were Repco, Patton Refrigeration, Nutritech, Assurequality, Easiyo and Pearson Education.Targeted sales project promoting carbonless forms and books. From 300 cold telephone calls over 3 days I succeeded in getting a number of new accounts. Developed sales in 12 months for our new digital short run labelling division prior to the sale of the business. Prior sales employment positions included Trigon Packaging and WR Grace. At Trigon I was responsible for the Watties Frozen food, Sanitarium and Rothmans accounts. At W.R Grace I managed Huttons, Affco Northland and the shrink film market. The emphasis had been on building up the customer base and successfully retaining those customers which has been successfully achieved.Managed a team of 5 staff and built this new business into a profitable operation. Responsible for managing all aspects of the business ranging from marketing and sales activity to production, delivery, cash flow management and driving profitability. I enjoyed directing and motivating staff to achieve company and personal goals.Prepared annual budget reports and cash flow reports for the business and bank which were reviewed with a business mentor. Negotiated with bankers and suppliers for financing and supply contracts to the value over $300,000. Organised leases for 3 lots of premises over the time I was in business for myself.
