•Provides support for department's technical equipment and devices; manages software, maintains system set up and functionality; develops and oversees new enhancements; troubleshoots problems and assists with the research and purchase of new software, add-ons, and patches; monitors data entry; maintains databases, processes information, and compiles data.•Supervises and trains staff; coordinates work assignments and reviews performance; facilitates training to groups and individuals on department-used programs, enhancements and updates; coordinates and collaborates with multiple City departments regarding program requests and requirements, IT activities and compliance with City regulations.•Maintains inventory for computers, printers, internal modems, laptops, tablet PCs, iPads, GPS devices, and encrypted thumb drives; provides support for cellphones and configures mobiles devices; acts as liaison with Information Technology for new phones/upgrades; coordinates changes to multi-function copy machines, network, phone access, facility moves and reimaging or upgrading department computers.•Works with the Information Technology Department to manage usage and implementation of the department's management software, troubleshoots problems, and assists staff in the utilization of software programs.•Reconciles and troubleshoots daily cash journals from recreation facilities; fixes out- of-balance accounts and incorrect postings; processes credit card refunds; inputs data; reconciles gift certificates for liability account; and, works with Finance to correct issues and troubleshoot errors.
