Uniarts advertised, printed and shipped art prints on behalf of Australian artists, taking a commission on the final sale and delivering the rest of the profits to the artist behind the work.This was my first 'proper' venture into the world of entrepreneurship and it was a long and winding road of successes and failures. We had:- Hundreds of artists signing up in days- Engaged communities on Facebook and Discord- Invitations to events, galleries and on stage discussions across AustraliaWe also had:- Uphill battles against big players in the industry- AI disruption- Budget pressures and small marginsI could easily not include Uniarts on my Linkedin. But the truth is that so much of what I know now about market analysis, strategy, cash flow, customer demand and consumer psychology all comes from here. We closed the doors on Uniarts at the end of 2023, but the lessons I took from it have stayed with me ever since.

I arrived at the agency as employee #3, and helped grow DMA into one of Adelaide's largest one-stop-shop digital agencies. By the time I left, we had grown to a team of nine.
