- 10+ years’ experience providing community outreach, employment supports and advocation for persons with various disabilities and barriers to employment with the goal of developing and securing employment placements and job coaching supports within the non-profit sector - Proven track record of establishing and maintaining professional relationships with community partners, Funders and employers within the London and Middlesex County; Promoted community integration and inclusion to persons from diverse and marginalized populations- Successfully completed the Certified Sales Professional Designation from the University of Western Ontario, which included course work specific to professional relationship building and business writing- Responsibly supported persons with various disabilities, including dual diagnosis, social disadvantage(s) and barriers to employment and provided Life Skills Training workshops to assist persons with disabilities to achieve their goals utilizing a Person-Centered Approach- Experienced networking and public speaking at London Chamber of Commerce Events and Expos- Successfully completed the Mental Health First Aid Certificate Program, Brock University, 2013 (Certificate of Completion) - Strong written and verbal communication skills; Experienced at documenting case notes and report writing of Employment Action Plans (EAP) for agency and Funder purposes- Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude; Ability to successfully identify and resolve potential challenges when providing client community supports- Proven team building skills and ability to provide community referrals while establishing trust and building loyalty through collaborating, developing and maintaining professional relationships- Proficient at Microsoft Windows XP: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Webtracker and several Customer Relationship Management Software Applications
