Operations Planning• Responsible for the security of the bulk electric system within SCEG's balancing area.• Performs day ahead and future studies on the system to ensure reliability during normal and emergency conditions.• Responsible for real time analysis of the system, as well as clearance studies for emergency work.• Coordinates outages with neighboring utilities and reliability coordinators.• Advises transmission and generator operators on actions to take during emergency conditions.• Reconfigures the system to ensure reliable operation.• Trains new members of Operations Planning to be real time operators.

• Responsible for billing materials and labor to the general contractor.• Reviewed design drawings to ensure accuracy providing quality control to the shop and field. • Coordinated with project managers and each field crew to ensure each job meets specified quality, cost, and schedule. • Devised a system to maintain an inventory of raw materials in the warehouse to eliminate waste and provide a method to recycle unused material.
