I gained leadership experience during my time as a deployment lead in major restructuring and transformation management exercises in two different companies where I was required to lead multi disciplinary teams. I also gained extensive people management experience during my time as a General Manager and Concentrator Manager on a turnaround mission. It was during this time that I spearheaded Safety, Health and Environment projects and reengineering process plants to eliminate inherent risks. My focus in safety leadership was evident through the systems I put in place to drive and manage a culture of ‘safety excellence before production’. I have experience in a listed company, managing disclosure activities related to Technical Service, QPs, NI 43-101, technical report and deliberating with analysts and shareholders. MY QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTI am a seasoned Engineer and Business Process Manager who has specialized in base metal processing plants and has built a wealth of experience in driving major transformation initiatives such as organizational restructuring using models such as, Six Sigma and Lean deployment. I hold a Mineral Process Engineering Honors degree from Leeds University and a Master of Business Leadership Degree from University of South Africa (UNISA). I have also completed Six Sigma black belt training specializing in Continuous Business Improvement (CBI) as well as Balanced Scorecard Certification from the Palladium Group.
