As a Publications Assistant for the Carroll School, my responsibilities are diverse. I regularly research, proofread, and fact-check articles for the alumni print magazine and various digital communications. Other responsibilities include assisting with marketing and advancement projects, providing administrative and technical support to staffers, and coordinating campus distribution and external mailing of the magazine. This past year, I wrote a bylined piece for Carroll Capital magazine covering faculty research on the NASAA's Model Law, a novel approach to combatting elder financial abuse. Take a look here. . .

With the Community Engagement Council, I helped plan internal and external community events sponsored by the Residence Hall Association. Some key events from the 2023-2024 academic calendar year included our internal RHA retreat, trivia for our RHA small group "Families," and our major external Charles River Clean-up volunteering event.

As a member of the Marketing Council, I worked closely with members of various RHA councils to produce both print and digital flyers for events sponsored by their councils. I also helped design the apparel for the 2022-2023 academic calendar year.

As an SLC Council Member, I helped plan and coordinate events geared towards the sophomore community and its residence halls at Boston College.

As a staff writer for The Gavel, I focused primarily on culture and the arts––specifically, film and music. I worked closely with my associate editors and Head Culture editor to produce compelling pieces that embodied The Gavel's goals of fostering an informed and engaged student body as Boston College's progressive student voice.

I served as an Activity Guide, leading groups of up to 25 international high-school students on visits to cultural and educational sites in both Boston and New York. My responsibilities included creating itineraries for excursions, tours, and travel; conducting data entry for grades and attendance; and student pick-up and drop-off, both to and from their host families and dormitories, the Back Bay campus, and Logan International Airport.

As Treasurer, I handled the organization's finances, which involved proposing and managing our University-approved budget, compiling expense reports, and managing organizational spending. In addition, I aided our Executive Board in planning various events and forums with Boston College Alumni, BC Law School students, and field professionals.

I served as a Freshman Representative for the AHANA+ Pre-Law Student Association, focusing mainly on outreach to my peers in the Class of 2024. Through email, social media, and personal contact, I was responsible for engaging with the Freshman Class to publicize APLSA events and bring in new and prospective members.
