Performed roles as Controller and Accounting Manager, ensuring the success of client engagements alongside the CFO as well as on my own with Grant accounting clients. Tasked with the development of project plans, which involved establishing time and materials budgets after initial work scoping, setting billing rates, and assigning personnel such as Accounting Assistants, Staff Accountants, and Accounting Managers. Additionally, I was responsible for setting project timelines, approving client deadlines, and finalizing budgets.I spearheaded various client projects, including transitioning from cash to accrual accounting, making Chart of Accounts recommendations, and ensuring historical financial cleanups met GAAP standards. I also handled the creation and analysis of financial statements and key performance indicators, provided audit support, assisted with year-end tax planning and extensive budgeting, conducted financial review calls, and ensured the timely delivery of client financials within 15 calendar days of month-end. My responsibilities further extended to cash flow forecasting, offering strategic guidance, making monthly profitability recommendations, specializing in Grant accounting/management, and participating in weekly staffing meetings.
