The Melbourne Indigenous Transition School is a not-for-profit organisation establishing a residential transitional school for Indigenous students from remote communitiies across Australia. Each year from 2016, up to 22 students (around Year Seven age) will attend MITS for one year, receiving targeted numeracy and literacy in a warm home-style environment that celebrates culture and understands the challenges of transitioning from home to Melbourne. Throughout the year, students will undertake some activities at their destination school - one of 20 Melbourne Schools that have endorsed MITS. At the end of their year, students will transition fully into their destination school, where they will receive full scholarships.

Employed to mentor and coach young indigenous men to gain life skills, self esteem, leadership, education, employment and contribute meaningfully in society. I do this by using football as a motivational tool to attend school and complete high school.I work closely with the AIS, WAFL clubs and AFL clubs to give my Academy members the best chance at achieving their goals of playing football at the highest level possible.
