Responsibilities as a Forklift Operator is load and unload 20 to 40 feet containers, 53 foot trailers and flatbeds of all size with pallets of super sacks, totes and 55 gallon drums. I also perform warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving of hazardous materials. This is a high volume/ high production warehouse within the Petrochemical and Oil industries.

/ SwitchmanWhile working shiftwork responsibilities as a Rail Car Loader were to load and weigh rail cars with PVC material. Responsibilities as a switchman was to operate locomotive with hand held remote and locomotive engineer. While performing daily operations I ensured all plant policies and procedures and OSHA safety standards were followed at all times. In accordance with contractor policies of SGS I was required to take yearly continuing education workshops with the Houston Area Safety Council involving OSHA safety standards and plant specific safety standards, policies and procedures. Other operations included, but not limited to, shipping and receiving of product, data entry of purchase orders into a database system and certified forklift operations.

Responsibilities as an Operator-1 was to supervise and manage a team of four to six employees while ensuring all company safety standards, policies and procedures were followed. Daily operations also included to oversee rail line production, maintain my teams production hours, loading and unloading of rail cars with PVC material, shipping and receiving, certified forklift operations, performing and entering daily inventory while using a database system.

As a Supervisor I managed a team of six employees while ensuring all company warehouse safety standards, policies and procedures were followed. I also performed light electrical operations that included bending conduit, rigid and plastibond pipe while reading blueprints to ready jobsites for laying and wiring of electrical systems. Other daily operations included, but not limited to, shipping and receiving, certified forklift operations, daily Inventory performed with RF Scanner and order processing while using a database system.
