• A summer camp job, whereby my role was to lead canoe camping trips in Algonquin Provincial Park. The trips were fully off grid and self sufficient, and consisted of groups of children aged 10-16, as well as a fellow.
• Before each trip it was my responsibility to plan and pack 4-5 days worth of meals, plot a route using OS maps, inspect tents and equipment, meet with my co-counsellor to discuss my expectations for the trip, and.
• While on trip, I was chief navigator, chef, canoeing instructor and provider of morale. Throughout the 10 trips undertaken during the summer i greatly developed my organisation, leadership, and adaptability skills.
