Process Project Engineer
Current Have lead a number of high value ($10MM+) New Product / Product upgrade introductions from product development through to handover to production. Equipment install, acceptance testing, commissioning (VAT, FAT, IQ, OQ, PQ) and validation. Developing and executing protocols & report generation. Equipment specification. Working with equipment vendors on process design, development and improvement projects. Completing safety risk assessments and elimination Have developed excellent working relationships with the engineering team at our sister plant in Iowa, with Program, Design & Test Engineers in Kronberg and with our equipment suppliers in Belgium and Germany. Process improvement – PR improvement & scrap reduction (improved PR on one 20 year old machine from 75% to 85% in less than 1 year and unplanned downtime in one department od 7 manufacturing cells from 10% to 7.5% in 9 months)). Liaising with R&D on product design, specification definition, product initiatives and process control strategy and documentation Working with sister plants on issue resolution Lean manufacturing environment – highly automated processes Leading and developing AM (Autonomous Maintenance) teams. Developing technical teams troubleshooting skills, issue elimination and standards generation. Developing the whole teams ability to effectively inspect equipment for evidence of potential future problems. Am member if the IM (Initiative Management) team tasked with implementation of Global Startup Management systems in the plant Am also part of the LE (Loss Elimination) team which involves coaching of technicians and operators in loss identification and elimination techniques.
