As a Principal Network Technician I am responsible for the monitoring of the FedEx Kinko’s Corporate LAN and Wan network connections and Enterprise servers and websites primarily via HP Openview. Responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows 2000, Windows 2003 systems as well as SUN, UNIX, and HP3000. Also troubleshooting of network issues on the corporate LAN and wan. Configure routers and switches (locally or remotely) as needed.Acting as a point of contact for vendors and engineers as needed.

Primary responsibility was to resolve technical issues in Kinko’s branches. Responsibilities included, support of Windows based computers, problem analysis and resolution for escalated incidents, identify and draft needed solutions and submit them for publishing approval, provide phone queue coverage during critical periods, review workgroup calls to ensure the integrity of data, also assisted other workgroups as needed. Assisted in the support of Express Pay rollout to over 200 branches, examined and corrected Express Pay databases for 83 branches. During this time I made a transition to three different workgroups (Windows, Mac, and Express Pay) to meet changing business needs.Helped refine and manage migration processes for Windows 95 to Windows 2000 Active Directory migration along with GroupWise to Outlook migration.
