Current• Overall responsibility for portfolio management and delivery of high-profile projects in support of the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (Chronic) o $8+ million yearly budget o 40+ projects o 70+ applications • Manage all aspects of portfolio including financial, resource and contractual • Communicate status of portfolio/projects via executive briefings and client meetings • Member of Project Management Office (PMO) responsible for establishing and maintaining policies and guidelines throughout the full SDLC o Conduct ongoing reviews of current processes for best practice identification, implementation and consistent compliance with NG practices and procedures o Moved project portfolio from traditional waterfall to an iterative development process utilizing scrum principle o Ensure that project managers utilize the Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) guidelines as mandated by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services• Developed production support help desk using Kanban principles• Personnel management responsibility for a team of Project Managers and User Experience Designers• Ensure that project communication and issue resolution for all divisions within Chronic is conducted in an efficient and proactive manner• Maintain a program level view of portfolio ensuring that risks, issues and changes are properly analyzed and mitigated• Resource allocation responsibility for a highly matrixed organization• Lead effort to implement Scrum/Agile methodology across portfolio• Ensure Program execution aligns with the evolving business needs of stakeholders• Ensure that lessons learned are captured and integrated into other projects in the portfolio when possible
