Assist commands in organizing and implementing an aggressive enlisted recruiting and career information program;evaluate enlisted recruiting and career information programs within own command and/or subordinate commands asapplicable; supervise and coordinate interviewing and counseling efforts; counsel individuals and give presentations tocivic groups, naval personnel, and their family members on the advantages of career opportunities in the Navy; andestablish and maintain liaison with local media.PAY GRADES UP TO E-7 (NCC): Conduct career development training; coordinate regional, subordinate, embarkedor tenant command training; assist commands in implementing and maintaining naval reserve programs; provide careerdevelopment programs while issuing feedback to chain of command and other organizations; develop command policyfor attrition reduction; manage command career development programs; interview prospective navy counselorconvertees; coordinate special navy career information events; establish navy recruiting station manning requirements;develop and evaluate navy recruiting station production plans and levels; and counsel applicants on health benefits,veterans benefits, commissioning programs, and entitlements.Analyze force or fleet career development programs and statistical data; conduct advanced training with subordinateimmediate superiors in charge; communicate with other force and fleet career counselors and other appropriateorganizations; draft career development policy; conduct fleet career management training; establish retentionrecognition policy for fiscal year; gather and analyze quarterly reenlistment and attrition data; recognize awardees;evaluate zone funding expenditures; conduct navy recruiting station inspections; make recruiter suitability boardrecommendations; and make and review fault and no fault transfer recommendations.
