I joined the Resourcing team within Gem on May of 2009. Joined the team as a scheduler, responsible for taking care and ensuring we met operational needs with effective scheduling. Within the role I developed and implemented processes, not previously in place and helped improve current processes.My role quickly progressed to other aspects of resourcing. Currently I've experience and fully able to fulfill most aspects of resourcing including:Resource PlanningForecastingProfile AnalysisHoliday Management Intraday ReportingMI ReportingNew business proposals etcThrough the job I've gained expert knowledge and use of WFM systems such as Total View from NICE IEX, Excel and various other database systems.

Started working for Gem within the Expedia contract, selling holidays. Worked to and exceeded company targets and acheived bonus. Gained experience working the the office environment, and knowledge of company procedures etc. Developed additional sales skills and tecniques as well as widening my geographical knowledge through the selling of holidays etc.As part of my development in the role, I was also trained in the servicing aspect of the company and through this gained knowledge in operation and understanding of airline policies etc including being able to use GDS systems such as Amadeus and Worldspan.
