• Report daily to the head professional, general manager, and golf course superintendent regarding the golf operation schedule and the affect that it has on various departments• Involved with senior management scheduling and supervising golf staff of 25 including 3 Class A PGA Professionals, 4 PGA/PGM interns, and 17 outside operations staff members• Oversee with staff the hiring process of PGM interns and available professional positions• Responsible for the implementation of the Men’s, Women’s and Junior Golf tournament programs• Assist with creating and monitoring the golf operation budget, sales and expense forecasting, staff make-up and historical analysis in order to determine future budgets• Review golf operation budget with the Head Professional on a monthly basis to determine yearly goal status• Oversee buying, merchandising and overall inventory level management in the golf shop that exceeded $730,000 in gross sales annually • Provided over 200 hours of instruction in individual and group settings to all segments of the membership as well as outside corporate functions• Orchestrated 4 day WGAP “Boot Camp” for our ladies WGAP teams each spring to familiarize our team members with the match play competitive format• Assist in formatting and conducting junior golf summer program including: Saturday clinics, week long golf camps, individual lessons and junior certification procedures in order to strengthen our program• Created the “rebirth” of the Men’s League by introducing new format leading up to a year-end, last man standing format.
