Responsibilities include:- Leading project specific procurement teams that provide services aligned with the technical, commercial and business needs of the client. - Create and Releasing request for proposal (RFP) package(s) based on client-approved statements of work and developing a procurement strategy/plan aligned with the project’s schedule as early as feasible. - Serve as a single point of contact for all bid cycle Requests for Information (RFI’s), coordinate obtaining responses from the technical lead and provide responses to all bidders. - Provide a complete award recommendation package including the technical and commercial bid analyses to the client. - Compile, award and expedite subcontracts on behalf of clients for equipment, instrumentation, electrical bulk materials, piping, structural steel, construction services, inspection services and/or consulting services. - Record and report any procurement cost savings to the project team. - Review and approve invoices if requested by the client. - Review if applicable, the client’s socio-economic compliance program requirements and ensure that the procurement plan has addressed the requirements. Provide contract close- out services. - Inquire, receive, and analyze supplier / contractor pre-qualification packages to determine capability for specific projects. - Negotiate back charges if needed. Provide temporary consultants with project specific safety training requirements and coordinate with client’s representative to coordinate safe entry into the facility. - Provide status reports including award registers, procurement status reports, and negotiated savings records as well as expediting reports to the Project Managers and other client personnel.
