● Launched a new emerging market UCITS long/short fund raising over $35mn from a range of European and UK investors● Responsible for managing the input of three additional portfolio managers / analysts into the fund including one direct report● Produce detailed financial analysis and investment recommendations for long and short ideas across a range of sectors and geographies with a particular focus on the technology, consumer and banking sectors in Asia● The fund typically holds 40-50 equity positions with detailed bottom-up financial models and investment analysis

● Named lead fund manager of the F&C Directional Opportunities Fund, a long/short emerging market hedge fund● The strategy delivered a net return of 34.5% vs. a 5.5% total return on the MSCI Emerging Market Index. This performance was achieved with an annualised volatility of 13%.● The Fund was nominated in the “Emerging Manager & Smaller Fund” category at the 2015 EuroHedge Awards● Worked with the F&C emerging market team to help refresh their investment process and recommended stocks for their long-only emerging market products● Produced detailed financial analysis and investment recommendations across a large number of global companies with a focus on Asian equities, technology stocks and short selling ideas

● Part of a three person investment team responsible for running up to $400mn in assets across three separate strategies including two long/short funds● Initial responsibilities included building models for over 50 large cap global companies across Asia, US & Europe as the team expanded coverage beyond original water & agriculture mandate● Produced successful investment recommendations across a number of sectors and geographies and contributed to team discussions around other positions
