I discovered my passion for computer science during my internship at Lockheed Martin. However, I realized that I didn't particularly enjoy working in a computer engineering role. Later, while working at Snowfall Press, I developed a stronger interest in computer science, although I was unsure of which direction to take within the field. Both of my bosses suggested that the military could help me determine the right discipline.In March 2011, I joined the Navy in the advanced computer electronics field as a Fire Controlman, specializing in the Close-In Weapons System (CIWS) and Shipboard Self-Defense System (SSDS) as a technician. After gaining exposure to both the technical and engineering aspects of technology, I finally discovered where I wanted to take my career in engineering. I realized that artificial intelligence was the perfect direction for me to pursue within computer science.I am eager to break into the AI field and learn as much as possible within your company. I am passionate about working hard and constantly setting new challenges for myself.I am an experienced Fire Control Technician with a demonstrated history of working in the military industry. I am skilled in SQL, C++, Unix, Linux, Python, Docker, Qtest, Java, and public speaking. I possess strong leadership and teamwork abilities, as well as experience in software development with robust hardware testing. Additionally, I hold a Top Secret Clearance.
