    · Assist Masters with preparation for oil major vetting inspections. Attend vessels to perform pre-vetting preparation. De-brief Masters after completion of vetting inspections. Follow-up and close-out vetting observations raised by Inspectors. Analyse trends and statistics related to vetting inspections with aim of improving vetting performance on fleetwide basis. Make recommendations to Fleet groups regarding improving vetting performance. Deal with specific vetting issues as they arise. Liaise directly with Customers to ensure vetting issues are dealt with promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned.· Regularly visit Company vessels, in port and at sea, and report upon and make recommendations for improvements to vessel operations, navigational, cargo and marine related issues, including standards of maintenance and upkeep of the hull structure, navigation, cargo, mooring and safety equipment and fittings.· Review, investigate and make recommendations upon vessel operations in areas, ports and terminals that have been identified as posing specific problems or as having specific restrictions or risks.· Make regular reviews of Company procedures in light of changes to international regulations, feedback from vessel and office staff and customer requirements pertaining tomarine, navigation and cargo issues. Always ensuring that industry best practice is applied in all areas of operation.· Perform on board internal audits related to ISM, ISO and ISPS codes as required. Investigate and provide corrective and preventative actions on navigational, cargo and marine related incidents on board Company vessels.· Assist and advise Masters and Fleet Groups on reparations for dry-dock and repair periods, with specific reference to cargo and ballast tank preparations. Attend vessels priorto and during dry-dock and repair periods as necessary and assist and advise attending Superintendent and vessel Master on repair and inspection programme as required.
