Love Spending free time outdoors at our family's farm! No matter what the chore or task (learning how to operate the tractor efficiently mostly), it is the most relaxing and enjoyable extracurricular activity I get to do on a regular basis. Also, love to play tennis and golf 'hack-hack', when i get the chance. Reading books, long walks in the park {sic}, and now trying to learn how to Kayak; with the amazing playground the Ingenious public/private restoration project on our urban Hooch whitewater course!Also, Enjoy dabbling in Real Estate Projects: Most recent (May 2013), was the purchase of 96 undeveloped lots in Harris County from a bank better known as "SweetBay" Subdivision. Before that was the build out and long term lease of a modern medical office facility in Albany, GA for a group of specialty doctors. Before that, and while completing college, spent too much time acquiring a large block of homes in the Bibb Village: A fascinating enclave within Columbus, GA proper that until recently was is own city. Enjoy living in this re-emerging neighborhood on the banks of the Chattahoochee River (otherwise known as South Green Island), and the lively scenery that an "emerging" area affords. Hope to one day soon relocate the infamous Pine Mountain area by building a modest mountaintop cabin fit for a bachelor and off the grid living built from local stone and wood overlooking the Great Lake Nancy (a 5 year project building a 60 acre lake honoring my Grandmother Nancy and my late brother Kent. The dam of this lake was endowed by my brother, and constructed fittingly by three of the Uncles of his one true love in life, Elizabeth Taft. The dam symbolizes or reflects his stubborn ruggedness in life, and unending passion for the outdoors and the sport of fishing. Highlighted by a day guiding John Smoltz fishing, was published in the Georgia Outdoor News magazine. I find peace in life mowing the grass of this awesome "plug" of Georgia clay!
