Responsibility for business unit operations and growth as part of the management team for the Midwest region.

Pat developed and executed design and operation projects for industrial wastewater and water and groundwater treatment in the petroleum, refining, organic chemicals, iron and steel, food and beverage industries. Operations services include troubleshooting, operator and management training, routine technical support, and contract operations and maintenance. Design services include treatability and pilot testing, source characterization and control, water use efficiency assessments, permitting and planning, and process through detailed design.

Pat developed and managed water projects for the chemical, food, beverage, and refining sectors. He led the execution of treatment technology selection and design work for complex wastewaters. Pat led the development of an operations services group.

Pat conducted biological/physical/chemical treatability and pilot studies, prepared treatment process designs, provided troubleshooting services, developed operation manuals, sampled sources and evaluated potential controls, and assisted with permit negotiations.

Pat was responsible for a multi-media annual environmental services contract for a large petroleum refinery; soil/sludge treatability studies; and the development of removal and remedial actions at several remedial sites.

Pat conducted network modeling of potable water distribution systems.
