Upon receipt of award project management responsibilities include customer contact, review of scope, writing up a project cover sheet and an estimate summary sheet, assign a detailer for the production of shop drawings and coordinate scope, negotiating material suppliers, securing raw goods with material suppliers, placing mill orders, provide fabrication schedule based on customer needs, maintain close contact with customer to ensure the project is being serviced properly, perform a cursory review of the shop drawings prior to approval submission, coordinate schedule requirements with production, follow through on project from inception to close out.
