Recruited back to Stanford University to manage new/challenging facilities in a similar role to my previous position with the University with added responsibilities of lab renovation project management while taking Advanced Project Management Certificate courses. Management of new facilities such as Bio Engineering and Chemical Engineering buildings & lab spaces both wet and dry. Main responsibility of ensuring that all facilities within the Science & Engineering Quad are appropriately maintained, secure, code compliant and accessible to University staff, faculty, students and guests. Management includes overseeing moderately complex renovation projects, the facilities needs of 500 - 2,200 people on a given day and operational readiness of up to 4 buildings within our quad with an emphasis on customer service and sustainable practices & initiatives. Average of 200,000 sq ft per building. Specific duties range from management of:facilities operations, project management, property management, space management, customer service programs, building security & access, quad communications, project expenses, budget management, vendor relationships, building codes, health & safety programs, emergency response teams/activation

Recruited to consult & improve operational logistics of sales, operations and facilities management teams which service the catering needs of clients of booked events at San Francisco’s convention center. Management of event based logistics initially focusing on the planning, sales and execution of large scale food & beverage packages for major conventions such as Dreamforce, VM World & Oracle Open World. Project of emphasis – Leadership team planning & executing NFL Fan Experience for Super Bowl 50 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Operationally implement sold event activations, perform facilities inspections, GC liaison between facility renovation work in correspondence with scheduled events. Role expansion into components concerning the 4 year, 5 phase renovation/remodel of the Moscone Center complex. The Moscone Center is currently comprised of more than 992,000 square feet of meeting & exhibit space, including 107 meeting rooms, 3 ballrooms and a 151,000 sqaure feet of pre-function lobbies.

AEG, one of the leading sports and entertainment presenters in the world currently manages the O.co Coliseum and Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA. I had the privilege of taking a lead role as an Event Manager for professional sporting events such as Oakland Raider NFL Football Games and Golden State Warrior NBA Basketball games. Along with professional sporting events, my event manager duties included large scale arena & stadium concerts with some of the biggest and most popular entertainers in the world. My day to day duties included promoter communications, budget management, staffing/scheduling of up to 300+ part-time staff (ushers, ticket takers, etc) as well as communications, preparation, direction & operations on event day.On non-event days my role switched to that of a Facilities Manager maintaining operational readiness of the stadium, arena and parking lots. Management planning, budgeting and implementing duties included security, building access, reporting/data collection, city/county code compliance, maintenance and working with union in-house engineers & stagehands preparing for future events.
